Ground Engaging Training (GET) Solutions Inc. was established in 2018 by two partners with over 30 years of construction and mining experience and over 20 years of adult education experience in materials development in multiple industries.
We are a training and development company that focuses on delivering and developing competency-based operator training. With hands on, safe, and practical production training that is delivered by experienced trainers. In addition, a library of creative, effective and scalable solutions support the training provided.

Robert
Robert has over 30 years of experience in the construction and mining industry, Robert has worked at all levels within the heavy equipment world. His experiences include, but are not limited to, Heavy Equipment Operator, Field Supervisor, Safety Advisor, Trainer, and Manager.
Robert has continuously kept his education up to date in order to be relevant to the construction and mining industries. Robert is a holder of several provincial heavy equipment certifications, safety designations, and both provincial and international training and assessing certificates. These educational designations help bring a very diverse outlook on the equipment, the people and their applications to tasks.
He has experience working closely with all levels of management to assess and identify training needs and provide training solutions that are culturally correct and align with the requirements of safe and efficient operations.
He has worked from coast to coast and as far north as Resolute Bay within our Canadian borders, including international experience as well. Having to work within different cultures and diverse climates have aided him in the ability to understand the challenges people face in day to day operations which help him to assist clients in getting solutions. A hands-on approach, positive attitude and open-door policy has helped Robert become well known in the heavy equipment training world.
Teresa
Teresa has over 20 years of experience in materials development for a wide range of industries.
She has established herself as an industry leader in program development, receiving multiple provincial recognition awards for her work including WorkSafeBC and BC / Yukon Region of Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) Achievement Recognition Awards.
She has a wide range of skills that focus on program development, graphic design and customer relations which has allowed her to build projects that exceed expectations of the client creating returning customers. A team builder that creates engaging environments that allow all learning styles to thrive.
Teresa is accustomed to working with stakeholders of all levels to identify KPI driven targets / competency expectations for optimal performance and provide creative solutions for their training needs. A focus on building brands that identify with the product is demonstrated at all times.
Teresa has had to alternate between corporate and field routinely in her career to gather an understanding of the projects to be built and the audience they were being built for. Interaction with the field staff allowed for better understanding of what metrics to incorporate into the learning tools. It also gained her the respect of the field staff creating buy-in into the project and overall acceptance of the learning pieces that were being implemented. Teresa’s ability to build these relationships allowed her to excel at her work.
